MTC positions are posted on https://careers.churchofjesuschrist.org. 

Generally, teaching positions  can be applied for any time of year. The Training Manager will select applicants  from the existing applicant pool to determine who to interview.

Policies Concerning Employment at the MTC

Employees of the Missionary Training Center are to uphold the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and are to live worthy of a temple recommend.  Most MTC jobs require employees to dress in missionary attire while working at the MTC. Please refer to the dress and grooming guidelines for missionaries for details. Employees are required to have legal authorization to work in the UK.

When do you have openings for teachers?

We take applications year round, but if we are not hiring at the time we receive your application, we will add you to the applicant pool for our next hiring season.

Can I apply for the job if I live outside of the UK?

A prerequisite for this role is that the applicant has legal authorization to work in the UK, whether that is through citizenship, VISA or settlement scheme.

Do I have to be a student to teach at the MTC?

No, although due to the job being 20 hours it can be very appealing for students!

Can international students work at the MTC?

Yes, on a student VISA you can work up to 20 hours per week.
